Abstract
The talk will summarize some contributions made by the International Mathematical Union and its Committee for Electronic Information and Communication concerning mathematics journals and related issues. In particular I will discuss the 2010 Current Best Practices for Journals document http://www.mathunion.org/fileadmin/CEIC/bestpractice/bpfinal.pdf and make some personal observations.
