Sometimes two mutations together cause a phenotype that is surprising given the effects of individual mutations. This phenomenon defines genetic interaction. Similarly, one drug can synergize with or antagonize the effects of another. I will describe early efforts at systematically mapping the network of interactions between antifungal chemical agents.
