José Orozco Rodríguez completed his B.S. in Mathematics at Universidad de las Américas - Puebla, and his M.S. in Mathematics at Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, both in Puebla, Mexico. He completed his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, in Minneapolis, MN. He currently works in the research and development department at Vision-Ease Lens in Ramsey, MN, where he develops software for the optical design of ophthalmic lenses. Marie Lopez del Puerto completed her B.S. in physics at Universidad de las Americas, Puebla, in Puebla, Mexico, and her Ph.D. in physics at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, in Minneapolis, MN. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Physics Department at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Her research interests include the structural, optical and electronic properties of nanoscale systems, computational physics, and physics and engineering education.
