Abstract
Over the past 17 years, there has been a significant advancement in phylogenetic comparative models and software, aimed at exploring the relationship between diversification rates and discrete traits. In this talk, I will explain how these models represent various hypotheses, which can be more easily compared using a Bayesian framework. Additionally, I will show how employing a Bayesian framework and a graphical model approach allow us to formulate more complex cladogenesis changes based on phenotypic change.
