Presenter
March 15, 2024
Abstract
Recorded 15 March 2024. Leonid Petrov of the University of Virginia presents "From Random Tilings to Integrable Vertex Models (Part 2)" at IPAM's Geometry, Statistical Mechanics, and Integrability Tutorials.
Abstract: I will survey classical and recent developments in integrable vertex models, especially towards their applications to random growth and particle systems. I will also outline their connections to random tilings, symmetric functions, and other structures discussed by the other speakers.
