Abstract
Recorded 08 February 2024. Grigoris Paouris of Texas A&M University, College Station, presents "Small ball probabilities for simple random tensors and applications to smoothed analysis of tensor decompositions" at IPAM's Tensor Networks Workshop. Abstract: We establish sharp anticancetration inequalities for simple random tensors under minimal assumptions on the randomness. As an application we revisit known algorithms for reconstruction of tensors by simple ones. Joint work with Xuehan Hu.
