Julia Pevtsova of the University of Washington presents "Stable module category for a finite group scheme over a commutative Noetherian ring" at IPAM's Symmetric Tensor Categories and Representation Theory Workshop. Abstract: Driven by a recent result of van der Kallen on finite generation of cohomology of a finite group scheme over a commutative Noetherian ring, one can do tensor triangular analysis on the stable category of such a group scheme and calculate its Balmer spectrum. I’ll report on a joint work with T. Barthel, D. Benson, S. Iyengar and H. Krause where we do such an analysis for both ``small” and ``big” stable categories.
