The aim of this minicourse is to discuss some basic theory in homogeneous dynamics on the quotient of PSL(2,C) by a discrete subgroup and to explain the McMullen-Mohammadi-Oh theorem on the topological rigidity of geodesic planes for convex compact hyperbolic manifolds with Fuchsian ends. If time permits, I will also discuss a higher dimensional analogue proved by Lee-Oh.
